3) Church Commissioners sell off desperately needed social housing for a big buck to developers.  The housing scheme in SW London was pioneered by Octavia Hill to help house and protect low paid key workers in the city and is needed as much now as it was over a century ago. This formidable lady fought against and resisted a sell-off by the Church Commissioners 100 years ago, but it seems today's campaigners have been overwhelmed by the Commissioners in another bid from them to take from the poor or those 'weaker' than themselves.
